Xavier Zsarmani and his son said they enjoy fishing together because they find it relaxing and soothing. The 6-year-old from Troutman read the book they wrote together, “How to Catch a Bully Fish” to WCNC Charlotte’s Larry Sprinkle on a recent visit.
mhm You already know Andy and Opie from the Andy Griffith show, but soon there will be another famous father and son fishing duo Xavier and XJ looking for a bully. Dad thought he should record some of their fishing adventures that day to preserve the memories. When he watched the video, he asked xJ a big question, what do you think about writing a book about the plague fish? And he was like, yeah, that would be cool. Do you mean the one that you can turn the pages of? And I was like, yeah, and that’s exactly what happened. Six-year-old XJ, with some help from his father, wrote a book and called it How to Catch a Bully. It was all inspired by a six year old creative mind and a dad’s passion to be a great dad, had you ever heard of a bully until now? Definitely not really told. There was one in the text of the book, son, what kind of fish do you want to catch daddy? A bully is like the conversation between the two of them that day. Just as important as the written words are the pictures that tell the story. So a special creative process was used to portray father and his son. I didn’t want to look like the critter bunny cartoon. I wanted to be like us. So I found a good um the guy who digitized it and was able to, we were able to agree and I was like, oh that knows the artificial intelligence that looks like I really want to look like.
